Meet Dora. As in Dora the Explorer. She also answers to Dotty, Little Dorrit and Doris. (Well, she answers to pretty much anything at the moment, to be honest!)
She is a very good kitten so far. She was left downstairs with some toys and her bed, food, etc, last night. This morning I woke up fairly early, opened the bedroom door and she was sleeping on the floor outside our bedroom door. I woke her up and offered her some breakfast and got a very loud PURR PURR PURR all the way downstairs to the food bowls.
After breakfast she went back upstairs and found out that John was still in bed (Sunday lie-in!) and that yes, she could manage to climb up the side of the bed. Then she did some mountaineering all over the duvet.
After a hard morning’s playing Dora slept the sleep of an exhausted kitten nearly all afternoon until her tummy told her it was food time again. Meals are extremely important to her. This evening she’s been having an attack of the crazies, zooming all over the ground floor and playing with a jingly ball, a feather stick and a pink mouse. The pink mouse has already lost an ear from hard playing.
